There is no doubt that the single life IS the best life to live at a young age. But also, Kudos to all the young lovers out there who are willing to be committed at such a young age. If you being with someone makes you happy and that’s what you really want then I guess by all means do what you gotta do to keep that smile on your face. Me on the other hand, I have passed that phase for now and see that there is way much more to life than just being with someone or finding a lover. Yeah, I used to be just like you; I used to envy others for having someone that they can call their lover, I used to think that finding someone is the most important thing to do, I used to be desperate to find someone, I even lived it as well. But guess what I’ve learned from all of that..You can do so much more when you’re still single. As a matter of fact, you would be able to enjoy the little things more than you would when you’re with someone. The thought of knowing that you have no one to put a limit on you, or keeping you tied down is just bizarre. The feeling to know that you can do so many things so freely without having someone you love tell you that they don’t like it and prevent you from doing it is such a big relief like a weight lifter off your shoulders. I enjoy being single, I LOVE being single, and I know thatI don’t need someone in my life to make me happy… simply because I know that happiness is what you make of it. But of course if a girl comes along and sweeps me off my feet, I would take a chance of being with her too. Well… As long as I’m single, no one can stop me from experimenting and trying out new things, and those are usually the good stuff in life. -Adriana Ra |
